When I was younger, snowboarding was a huge part of my life. I still remember the thrill of receiving my first issue of Transworld Snowboarding: its epic photography and athlete stories made the sport feel larger than life and left me thinking, I want to be part of that.
Two years ago, when I began Olympic weightlifting, I searched for a similar publication that captured the sport’s energy and spirit. But there was nothing. Weightlifting seemed to be missing an opportunity to inspire new lifters while celebrating the incredible stories of seasoned athletes.
